Atocha Railway Station, Madrid

A super efficient bus service links Madrid airport with Atocha Rialway Station in central Madrid.
The old wrought iron and glass Atocha Station has been transformed into a modern communications hub......the old station is now the new concourse, with shops and restaurants, and has a spectacular tropical garden complete with palm trees and a high level fine spray system, to replicate the humidity of a tropical forest!
It was from Atocha that we took the high speed train to Alicante....picked up our car, and finally arrived safely back home!
