Tiny Tuesday - Snail

When I was pondering what to photograph for today's Tiny Tuesday challenge, my long-suffering better half (aka my Editor) kindly mentioned that she'd spotted this tiny snail (about 5mm across) climbing up our back door. Problem solved!

I pondered what background to use, and wondered about just using a white sheet of paper but eventually opted for a piece of coloured plastic which would approximately match the colour of the snail. As the snail is semi-translucent I think it was probably the right choice.
