A Good Morning

Yes, hurrah! Hip, hip etcetera.
Another foggy day has begun
but where I’m heading
the forecast is sun.

So praise be. Three cheers. The
windows may be all misted up
but who cares? It is autumn.
I’ve seen it all before. And hope

to see it all again in years to come.
And again. And again. And again.
I can hardly contain my joy today.
Hurrah I write on the window pane.
