Lego, Brownie Badge & Wizzimal

The random collection of little objects that live on my desk. From left: a Wizzimal - a little wind up clay like mouse that I send to the other side of the office when bored and had way too much fun making, a piece of string that I fashioned into a stick man, a box containing part of a pyramid stacking puzzle I picked up at a conference in Montreal, parts of said puzzle, a science investigator badge from my Brownie leader friend for coming to talk about science, a (empty) bottle of weird herby schnapps we were force to drink first thing in the morning the day an office mate got his first paper published, some bits of paper I should throw away, a Lego lady scientist that I got from my friend Banana for my birthday and a little bit of the models of the molecules that I have looked at throughout my PhD.

They all make me smile in their own little way.
