Errr I think I'm stuck!

Teejay and I had a meeting in Nelson today. We had had some snow overnight but when we checked whether the road to nelson was open it was all systems go. So off we trotted through a very picturesque landscape. We got to the Hope Saddle and thinks started to get interesting! There was a line of lorries at the bottom not brave enough to try and get up the hill in the snow. However the man in the know said the road was passable, with care.
This shot was taken from the top of the saddle, pointing straight into the morning sun. it looked glorious. Alas this beautiful snow also stopped us from getting home. Soon after we went through the road was closed and has basically remained closed most of the day. So an unexpected night in Nelson it is and fingers crossed a trip home tomorrow!
