What have the French ever done for us??

Well.... a la roman sketch Monty Python... there was the cathedrals.... And every trip to France must include at least one visit . This one is at Coutances in Normandy built in 1274 and mostly original and very beautiful. Weather reverting to pure misery and very wet campsites.
