A Drop In The Bucket!

Teaching for a living is really fun. The shpiel doesn't always change a lot...but how it works out and how the crowd receives are never the same. That unpredictability is what makes it fun.

Nobody teaches still phertography better than Canon Live Learning Immersion instructor Jeff Greene. He demos product photography as well as stopping action by dropping a strawberry into a glass jar of water. Jeff explains that this is a quick demo. In reality he might take as long as two hours to get the right timing, lighting and focus.

And then...how it worked out...worked out great! First try!!! While his photo was crisp and clear...my silouette is a bit fuzzier...but I had to capture the moment (that was really SEVERAL minutes!) as Jeff admired his work...Helping students is the best reward, but thinking on our feet and getting things right is a close second important rewaerd for teachers who teach!!!
