a cheery crowd on a dismal evening

A miserable wet and cold evening here in Calgary. To make things worse, it was a long day with work extending well into the evening and I had to leave the house in search of a blip. and as if that is not enough, it seems that someone has taken my nice coat by mistake from the party last Friday.

On the way back however, i was cheered up I encountered these hardy souls standing outside the Kensington pub for a smoke. Despite the weather they were happy and upbeat readily posing for a photo.

Most remarkable of all I managed to resist the temptation to go inside for drink.
