Sleepy Bees

I spent the afternoon visiting with my sis while we watched her squirrel Gavone hang upside down on her bird feeder. He was quite the character all stretched out, hanging on by his toes, stuffing lhis little face with seed. You can see his acrobatics on flickr here!


This evening I drove to a favorite place in Lenape Park where I found bees that sleep in the purple flowers, a most beautiful Maxfield Parrish sunset and the nicest surprise of seeing an old friend with his new female yellow labrador!
