20 Weeks!

The purpose of my trip was to join Rachel & Scott for the 20 weeks scan this morning.  Baby was head down with its chin tucked into it's chest, but the radiographer was able to check the heart, kidneys, head and thigh measurements etc.  Everything looks fine and we found out that it's another girl :-)  Scarlett will be very happy - she told me yesterday that it was a baby sister lol!

Naturally we had to go and do a bit of 'pink' shopping and then we had lunch (meatballs) at Ikea before I headed home.

My journey was ok, although the train to London was very busy and there was a guy sat in my seat.  I told him that I'd reserved it, but he wasn't prepared to move as someone was in his seat!  The lady that was in his seat pointed out an empty seat to me - goodness knows why she wasn't sat there!  Anyway, it was fine and it was the express train, with the next stop being Euston which meant I managed to get an earlier train to Brighton than planned.

Alan works in Burgess Hill so I got off the train there and we drove back to Brighton together, stopping at the marina for something to eat.

It's been a short, but very sweet visit and it was wonderful being there for the scan.  This isn't the best image, as the room was very dark and I only had my iPhone, but it had to be my blip today.
