Life's Little Moments

Doubly delightful...

The temperature today was an unseasonable 69 F which meant that I was able to find some six-legged flyers when I went out today.  And after spending the better part of six hours hunched over my computer/s trying to move files and programs, I really needed a nature fix!  This is a Green Sweat bee, in the halictid family of bees.  And his little 8-legged friend is some sort of hunting spider.  The bee measures about 1/4 inch which gives you some perspective on the diminutive size of the spider.  Eventually the bee warmed up and flew off and the spider retreated to the underside of the flower to await the next potential prey.

I did a fair amount of muttering and cursing this morning, but was eventually successful in migrating over my email and Quickbooks as well as the entire Microsoft Office suite of files - feeling pretty full of myself at the moment.  Also finally bit the bullet and paid for a year of Adobe Creative Cloud which includes Lightroom and PS.  Now that I've got 2 TB of memory in the computer, I am feeling rather daring!

I am sorry to say the Hubs is still under the weather. I tried to convince him to go to the doctor but he steadfastly refused; but I did extract a promise that he'll go tomorrow if he isn't better.  He's running a temperature and feeling achy but no other major symptoms, so not sure what he's got.  As for me, I'm feeling better with just a bit of head congestion.  One of us got their flu shot this year ... want to guess who?

I'm off to tackle the next set of programs now...

Happy Monday.
