Time past

Sorting through old photos today with my sister and found this of my father's labeled, 178th general hospital 1942. He is front and center in the tan pants, hand in his pocket. We think that the date must be wrong as he had told us he was in France after the liberation. We think this picture was taken at the Carrousel Arc de Triomphe, near the Louvre.
