She belongs to friend June and comes from the Isle of Bute. June had fallen in love with the un-named seal in a craft shop in Rothesay, years ago, when she'd been on a cycling holiday with a friend. Her husband Laurie had then secretly spent a whole day travelling to Rothesay and back to buy Sealia for June's birthday. "That's devotion for you."

I popped in to see June and Laurie on my way home from badminton this afternoon. June had baked a cake with a mystery ingredient that I had to try and identify from the taste. I couldn't. In the end she had to tell me: red peppers! It was delicious!
