Sandgate Cemetery

This cemetery was established in 1880's and todays blip was taken in the oldest section as you can see the lichen that grows on the headstone. I like visting cemeteries when we travel overseas we both attempt to visit various cemeteries such as Highgate in London and seek out it illustrious luminaries such as Karl Marx. This particular section that I strolled into has interned lots of priests and religious orders going back to 1890.
