The Oat cake fairy..

..has posted me some Oat cakes. Thankyou very much, you know who you are, but I don't!! (Suspect R&L though!!, or was it C&M?). Staffordshire oat cakes are a wonderful wrap made with oat flour and yeast (there may be other things). Long been a tradition in our family to have these with Sunday breakfast, bacon, egg, mushroom - well anything you can put in a wrap really.. Eaten hot, filled, rolled, and the bottom turned up - they leak egg yolk and mushroom juice everywhere.. Fingers have to be licked.. These half dozen packs have been split into 3's, and are in the freezer waiting for Sundays..
 
Greyish sort of day, and not done much.. Paid some money into the bank for SCDC. Collected mag from shop. Called in to see CA about the calendar. Visit and chat with M, and invitation to his for a meal tomorrow. A walk down the croft to get some veg. A bit of painting in the hall later, and an SCDC meeting.
