God's Own Country
Fog? Airport closures? Really? Oh dear, what a pity, never mind!
We are in God's own country up here on the Moray Coast with not even a wisp of cloud all day in a pale blue autumn sky, a sparkling flat calm sea and a temperature that invited a walk in TShirts round the coast at Portsoy.
Now back in Sandend, His Lordship and I are about to have some wine time on the upstairs patio and wonder what we have done to deserve this second coming of summer.
We have even been told there is a chance that we might see the northern lights tonight. Now that would be the icing on the cake.
