The Reflecting Pool

Between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument in Washington DC.

Flew in from Norfolk early this morning and spending two nights in Alexandria before going back to the UK ....... no bike (turned that in yesterday) so caught the train into the city ...... DC is vast ..... I have seen the Vietnam and Korean War Memorials, The White House, the amazing World War II Memorial and walked for miles (I'm English - we walk) ......
