(Pre-empting) Remembrance Day

Way back on Anzac Day(April 25th for non Australasian Blippers) , I sowed hundreds of seeds of the "Soldier Poppy" at our gateway in the hope of their honouring the service men and women of our country , come November 11th. They are blooming now, despite a wild west wind battering them , so I thought , best I share them with you before they are blown clear up the drive! November 11th an easy date for us to remember as it marks both my elder son's 45th birthday and that of Tarawera Times also...just one or two more than 45 of course!
