One more step along the world I take...

This morning was emotional. It caught me by surprise as I sat there in the rare glorious sun, witnessing little persons line up to receive the certificate of recognition to say they have graduated from pre school, thus rendering them ready for Primary 1.

My heart swell was engulfing as Eve stepped up and grasped her certificate, muttering politely 'tank you' as she took her spot to get this her, to date, most auspicious occasion photographed.

I almost greeted. But it wasn't just Eve I was biting my quivering lip for, it was for time and the well documented fleetingness of it.

I am truly excited for Eve and her burgeoning new life as she enters the realm/wilderness/jungle that is school. I am sure she will handle it with aplomb and in her usual indomitable fashion.
