Paddling and parties

Today was a really lovely day. I woke up early and walked over to the sports centre to pick up a car for our kayaking trip to Stanley. After some fairly efficient packing, we headed off to the river and got on the water, first paddling upstream to Campsie Linn (a big rapid) before heading on down the river. The first hour was fairly rainy, but after that the sun came out and it was wonderful! We even had time at the end to take another naked photo for canoe's calendar, using pumpkins as props. 

We then headed back home to shower and dress up in our costumes for tonight's halloween party. Lots of games and alcohol meant that the night was very enjoyable, and I fell into bed exhaused at 3.30am! :)
