Keeping an eye out

Carlos was clearly hopeful of some live food, but in the end he got a bowl full of rocket.  He seemed to enjoy it, once he stopped sulking about healthy eating.

I have got somewhere closer to understanding why some seemingly inexplicable symptoms are happening to me.  Why does my body hate me so much?

One thing is for sure, once this next surgery is done, I am really going to have to work bloody hard to counter the fact that I am gaining weight rapidly.  I am led to believe that hormonal behaviour is affected by ovarian cysts and that this impacts upon insulin resistance, in turn causing the body to store calories as fat.  That will teach me to read the literature that the hospital gave me a little sooner next time.  Hopefully there won't be a next time.
