Mind blown!

Tonight Toby is struggling to sleep.

He started asking questions this afternoon about how far it is to the centre of the earth and then the sun etc.

So spent the half hour before bathtime on the Internet reading about the size of the earth, the planets, the sun, the biggest stars, the size of the milky way and the number of other galaxies out there. There's some great short videos on you tube about all this.

Then we looked at a cross section of the earth and talked about lava and the bit he loved the most is fact the core of the earth is as hot as the surface of the sun. Had a bit of a chat about nickel and iron, with the aid of a spoon, Then we talked about how hot the centre of the sun is. Phew!

Not sure I'm going to sleep now.

As he went to bed I told him to never ever stop asking questions.

Earlier went to see James and lynne and twins. Wow harry has grown loads. Took pie with filling made yesterday and cooked overnight in slow cooker.

Need to write the recipe so putting it here so won't lose it
