Fresh start

Beautiful start to the day, love the sun shining in ray's through the trees.

Decided to go into Reading to the Apple shop to see if they could resolve the problem. Appointment made for 11:30am so half an hour for a bit of Christmas shopping :). Back to the Apple Store, where they diagnosed it was my battery that needs replacing - hubby is going to look into this.

Back home and after lunch made some scones (recipe from the book I read on holiday) and the Christmas cake. I love the house smelling of Christmas cake.

Up to my sewing room to work on my block for the sew-a-row event - having a mental block, completed most of it but I think I need to put a bit more on. Got until the 10th to complete it ..........
