I could just sit and watch macaques all day long. 

Japanese macaques form matrilineal groups. Female daughters assume a similar rank as their mothers, with younger siblings outranking older siblings. You learn something new everyday...

I was loving the very Autumnal bracken today. Delicate lacy brown skeletons.

Big thumbs up to Grandma and Grandpa today, who did an excellent job of entertaining the Bug. He thoroughly enjoyed their company.
