The little owl was sitting in a different spot today (same tree though!)

The light was amazing at the little owl tree - but so bright (here's the technical bit) that I really had to wallop on  minus 3 Exposure compensation to stop him blazing out of the photo! (Technical, but badly expressed - how is that supposed to be said - I have no clue) that I had to  underexpose the image by three stops. ;-)


Anyhoo - because of that the background has become very black - and I rather like it so other than cropping, this is pretty much unedited - though I was tempted to get rid of that leaf stuck to his claw!
