Party

After a leisurely breakfast we spent much of the day helping to prepare for Gilles' Halloween/50th birthday party. Fortunately we'd got enough done for me to nip off with another guest to watch the second half of the rugby in a small local sports bar, and we were richly rewarded. The party atmosphere was wonderful, with fancy dress and live music.
