A bit of nostalgia

Some years ago we and a group of intrepid friends did a series of 'long walks'.   The shortest of these, Jock's Road, was around sixteen miles, and the longest, The Thieves Road at Loch Ericht, was just over twenty two miles, a long walk in a day.  The rest of the walks had a mileage between those two.  The walks were organised by the HG, and it was considered a honour to be invited to walk.

After the last one, we had a presentation to the six people who had done all of the walks; I was one, and received the beautiful paper weight made by Caithness Glass, which was commissioned by the HG, and shows a walker in relief on it.  I am immensely proud of it!

Just a little bit of nostalgia!!!!!
