Sand, sun no sea

From the top of one of the dunes, thirty miles from the coast,the Nethy has never been so low! It was possible to ford it in several places, usually just the one at this point.Wandered about, getting sand in my eyes, as there was a breeze, but considering  it is November..... Temperatures were high too, 16 and 17'.Had coffee on the  burnside and looked up to see a small group of red hinds watching me, see extra.
Later, met a farmer friend and we marvelled at the best autumn ever.
