Early morning sun!

On my way from the bedroom to make an early morning cuppa, pulled the curtains back and this sight confronted me and had to take a picture. I love the way the sun is shining through the tree, creating an almost mystical look. 1st November and it is a beautiful day!

November is a month for a quieter, slightly more subdued celebration of summer's death as winter tightens its grip, we are told by forecasters that the winter ahead is going to be a hard one, I do hope so!!
