Another delivery
An early start at the allotment where the first delivery of manure arrived at 8.00am. This lot is very fresh so is being stored under old carpets so it can rot down over the winter.
There was about an hour's wait for the second delivery so I used the time to take up the runner beans, clear old French beans and all the old courgette plants while waiting.
It was good to get home for a shower and breakfast after that. Later we walked into town for coffee and lunch, getting back just in time to carve a pumpkin for tonight before the Rugby World Cup final began. Enjoyed watching the match, plenty of excitement and plenty of tries. The best team won, but Australia pushed them close in the second half.
We had about 5 groups of people around for Trick or Treat, mostly young children with their parents. Lots of fireworks displays tonight.
