Ai Wei Wei 's genius

I had booked tickets for this exhibition with only a sketchy knowledge of the artist so wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy his work.
Entering the courtyard of the Royal Academy to be met with a "wood" of trees, made from dead trees and reconstructed. Stunning.
I was completely entranced by his work and also appalled by his repression by the state. I would highly recommend a visit if you can get tickets.

This is a piece called Cycle Chandelier and it was truly spectacular. Yes it is made of bicycles!
