Red Wharf Bay

Today was our second day walking the Anglesey Coastal Path. We started where we left off yesterday at Llanddona and finished at Moelfre.

The majority of this walk was around the huge expanse of Red Wharf Bay, and today I have chosen this view of the bay taken from near the start of the walk before we dropped down the steep slope from Llanddona village to the beach.

It was great doing such a long walk around such a large bay because at the start of the walk as you can see from the photo the tide was right out, but by the time we finished it was high tide, giving the bay a very different feel.
