Not as hard as we thought...

Getting Bailey into his Halloween dragon costume that is. He had a special invitation to the official Bailey-sitter's party this evening and got into the Game of Thrones theme - although no one else was in bright green velour. The favourite's help was required as a distraction tactic but it went better than any of us predicted. He stayed whilst the we left them to it and had our own catch-up but he was retrieved by the time we were on our pudding. The costume hadn't lasted that long, I don't think, but he had launched his usual charm offensive and there was a definite whiff of perfume on him when he returned. 

The first part of the day was spent cooking pies and crumble at a very leisurely pace and a bit of a walk down the back lane in the sunshine this afternoon, followed by a bit of a nap. Work will need to be done tomorrow but hopefully the morning will see it done and Bailey can sleep off his party excesses whilst I get my head around term two.
