Bank of Scotland
The morning light in Glasgow can be amazing, and today was no exception. This morning as I walked along Sauchiehall Street I was attracted to the Bank of Scotland building. The elevation on Blythswood Street with its 5 round-headed windows with geometrical glazing bars rising through 1st and 2nd floors lighting the banking hall, looked stunning in the morning light.
This modern classical 4-storey bank on a corner site was designed by John Keppie and Graham Henderson (1929-31).
