Leaving Sorrento

Our third stop on this weekend trip.

Yesterday afternoon we arrived in Sorrento, and we checked into the hotel. What horror - the room we got was tiny, not too clean, the bed was tiny (French bed .. not too comfy if you are sharing with a friend) and smelled horrible (like pee). So we went back to the desk and asked if they had another room available, giving all above reasons. They said there was only one, which was for 3 people really, and we would have to pay 30 euri more. Horrible service, but what do you do? .. we took it.

Other than that, Sorrento was quite nice. Maybe with the exception of some spontaneous diarrea after dinner (not sure which part was bad, because it tasted fine, but for sure my intestines did not like something..). We had expected more of a beach, but still we managed to squeeze ourselves into the free parts, and the water was amazing.


FYI - I am uploading this now (June 26th) and yesterday and today I did a ton of backblipping, starting here (June 3rd).
