A day of celebrations

My two final year project students graduated with firsts today they were so happy I was so pleased for them it was so well deserved - one of them, Dave, even won the project prize for best project mark in his year group - just got to turn the data into a paper now

Absolutely shattered had only a few hours sleep- too much work on my mind - hopefully that'll be rectified tonight. Being a academic in the sciences is a constant juggle between raising research funds, writing papers, teaching the undergraduates and training the postgraduates not to mention all the departmental admin I have to do
