Privy Cottage, Kippax

This is an old photo. Our art club was asked to make the old disused toilet block look decent so we turned it into a cottage. Everything you see on it is painted on boards and put up over the windows and doors. People on the bus used to be heard to remark that they wondered who lived there it looked so pretty.

We only had family call tonight, and wondered where all the trick or treater's were, then we found out there was a bonfire at Garforth (Lions) so that must have been where they all went.  The dog is shivering with worry at the fireworks going off, we usually give her a calming pill but didn't know about the fireworks so didn't give her one. What is wrong with people these days, is it me!! we had bonfires and fireworks on 5th November, midweek or not it didn't matter, everyone pulled together in our street to make it a good one. We would never have had it at on the nearest Saturday.
