Gooseberry Harvest

I landed yesterday evening in thick , moist mist; I woke this morning to the same. Then we had about 3 hours of hot sunshine before that thick mist returned...My poor spuds are already showing signs of blight. But the gooseberries evidently seem to thrive . I picked a few bushes. There are so many weeds, but as soon as we fill a bucket it gets thrown to the pigs. They love weeding time!
