Succumbed

This morning we heard that a neighbour about 6 houses away had been burgled and the house comprehensively trashed while they were away on holiday.
With little debate it was off to Screwfix and we now have an intruder alarm.
Decided to extend the coverage to the garage and my workshop.
Leaves us with an uncomfortable feeling.
