Back focus

I've tried to ignore it. I've tried to live with it. But no more. My camera has a 'back focus' issue. It focuses behind the subject.

The AF point is the square outline on the right hand side of the pic. The camera says/thinks it has focused at that depth. It clearly hasn't; the sharpest part of the pic is the '10mm' line behind.

Bugger.

For most of my photos (shot at middling apertures) it doesn't matter. But when I want to shoot fast f1.8/2.8 lenses, at fully wide aperture, the results are fairly unusable.

I've contacted the camera company and enquired about getting the camera serviced/replaced.

I'm hoping they'll be decent about it all. Fingers crossed.
