Pumpkin Denier ...

I don't mind Halloween if the guisers (NOT 'trick or treaters') make a bit of an effort to dress up and tell a decent joke or two. I usually have a few sweets and satsumas for the local children if they call round. Tonight Lyn's hosting a Halloween get together at her flat so I've been making cup cakes with orange icing. Disgusting really.

In my young day we always had a lantern made from a turnip. I don't remember when the pumpkin thing started but it's a tumshie all the way here tonight. Though pumpkins are a lot easier to hollow out I have to admit
