Honey Bee

One of the advantages of having bee hives on the farm is the increased number of bees around. My lavender bush is now in flower, and is covered in very busy bees. I lay on the ground with my camera taking lots of photos, while the sun streamed down on me and the bees.

It was a very early start at 4.40am this morning. It's my turn this weekend to milk. Tomorrow's exactly the same, and as much I'd like to get up early to watch the final of the rugby World Cup, I have to be at the cowshed milking. Darn!
I'm sure I will see a replay of the game sometime during the day. GO THE ALL BLACKS!
