A lovely day

This morning Eamonn and I had a leisurely morning. Then made our way into town. We went and had a look at the new Birmingham New Street Station - Grand Central. It now has a fabulous John Lewis.

After a good wander we made our way over to the Jewellery Quarter and went to s vegetarian Resaurant, Deepali's. We had a very tasty Masala Dosa, scrumptious!!

We then headed back to town and went to the Musuem to see the Staffordshire Hoard. The biggest find of Anglo-Saxon finds. It was very interesting.

After that we went to the Museum's tea room and waited for my sister in law Kate to meet us, before me going for my bus home.

My coach was due at 4.55. It arrived at 6.20. I got to Leeds at 10.45. Waited half an hour for a bus to Wakefield, then had to get s can from Wakefirld to home. Finally arrived indoors at 12.10am! Cold, tired and hungry. Finally went to bed at 1am.

But it was lovely to spend time with my dear brother.
