either way, i enjoy seeing these things carpeting the ground this time of year. perhaps that's because i no longer have the chore of dealing with them (living in a condo).

managed to get this photo at home during lunch. i figured it best to capture now, as soon enough the crew of gas-powered workers would be here to rid the whole complex of this colorful blanket.
