Cycas Revoluta

A new "break " of leaves start to push through the centre of this beautiful specimen. Soon they will spread out to form a canopy of bright green leaves. Only 1 break is produced per year. This particular cycas is about 18 years old. Hardy, asks little TLC but I am amazed after every cold, rainless winter to see a new set of leaves appear out of the blue.
