Tucking in

The birds are treating my garden like a "drive thru McDonalds".

The goldfinches are definitely back and making up for lost time - fluttering at each other, pushing each other off the feeders, and spilling mountains of sunflower hearts all over the place.

More have discovered the bird table - and the photo I've chosen shows an arriving blue tit, who is not sure that the goldfinches should be up there (mind you, they are not "table feeders" either).

Neither is the wren. My one little friend who is usually in the leaves and emerging occasionally also tried out the bird table. His cute little tail feathers stuck up just like on the old coin.  But I was chatting to a friend on the phone and didn't catch the wonderful moment.

Enjoy your weekend, blippers.
