Ferry Bridge over the Waiau River

After staying the night with friends in Woodend, this morning I headed to Hanmer Springs.

I've been taking photos for work in and around Hanmer for a story I'll be writing for a client's blog. It was the first time I've been in the small tourist town for some time, so I was keen to grab a variety of shots whilst there.

This shot of the Ferry Bridge is from the lookout on the Hanmer road. It's certainly not an original place to take a shot of this bridge, but I'm happy with the result. I love the glorious Fuji Velvia greens, helpfully brought out by my polariser.

In the other shot is another river view - this time looking upstream towards the bridge over the Hurunui.
