Night shot

Not everything went to plan at work today, but some days are just like that. The weather report said that the clouds would lift to clearing skies in the late afternoon. They didn't lift. The high pressure is on its way but didn't quite make an impact until it went dark.
This shot was more of an experiment than anything else. I went out to walk the dog and was intrigued by the burst of light silhouetting the mountains at the head of the valley. It came out better than I anticipated.
