Autumn at Stowe

A great blipmeet today - twelve of us altogether for the start - some familiar faces and some new ones joined in.  The weather was a bit 'drippy' - well, I have to admit is was actually raining - so coffee took a long time and almost merged into lunch.  However, we did venture out among the drips and managed a few reasonable photos.  On a better day, this Landscape Garden is stunning but even today, it was still magical.

I had almost decided on my blip when I remembered it was Thursday - Abstract image called for - so have now spent time 'faffing (no other word for it) to get an abstract image I felt reflected the place.

We returned rather soggy to the National Trust restaurant for a long lunch and then decided it was time to head for home.  Thanks so much to Black Tulip who organised the occasion - shame she forgot to sort the weather as well!!!!
