Agapanthus

Should we tell this plant that is doesn't flower into November. It did not produce any flowers in the summer when it was supposed to, but has now decided to throw up two stems with buds on.
The extra is of a dark Nerine, rather than the pale pink one, and stands all alone in the flower bed! Don't know where its companions are. Funny old weather and seasons!
